These pictures are from a string art workshop from December 2019.

On December 8, 2019, there was a Holiday String Art Workshop hosted in Painter 4.08. This was my first ever workshop that I attended for UTeach Maker. We learned the basics of making string art, and I decided to make an "Itty Bitty Pretty Christmas Kitty". I first found this design online, printed it out, and nailed it into the wood. Then I outlined it in string and filled it in afterwards.

This was my first time meeting other makers in the Maker cohort. I found the workshop to be a nice socializing event where I was able to work on something with my hands and talk to other people. I enjoyed the community aspect where we talked about our designs and the thought process behind doing the string art.
